The model predicts gravitational redshift and echoes in compact objects, suggesting new observational possibilities.
We present a model of a regular compact object in which gravitational collapse is halted by a saturation mechanism at the Schwarzschild radius. The saturation is described by a dimensionless scalar field P, called the statization field, which obeys a modified Poisson equation with a strict bound P ≤ 1/2 arising from the holographic (Bekenstein) limit. The model makes three testable predictions: (i) a maximum gravitational redshift z_max = 2/3 for any source at rest on the saturated surface; (ii) gravitational wave echoes with characteristic time delay Δt ∼ 10⁻³ s and relative amplitude in the range 10⁻³–10⁻¹; (iii) a shadow whose emission ring originates directly from the surface, not from a vacuum photon sphere – a signature testable with the next generation of instruments (ngEHT).
