The Holographic Encoding of Time: An Ontological Reinterpretation and Civilizational Significance of the Chinese Traditional Calendar under the Perspective of Yuanxian Theory

Every civilization possesses its unique view of time. While Western civilization frames time linearly (the Gregorian calendar) as a straight line flowing from the past to the future, Chinese civilization frames time cyclically (the traditional lunisolar calendar) as a nested system of multiple cosmic periodicities. This paper provides a high-order ontological reinterpretation of the Chinese traditional calendar under the perspective of Yuanxian Theory (YXT) and the 64-dimensional compact torus (T⁶4) high-dimensional topological framework. Based on the four core laws of Yuanxian Theory—the Law of Cosmic Factor Conservation (FSC), the Law of True Circle Self-Consistency (TCSC), the Law of Self-Referential Mind Field Generation (SRM), and the Law of Spacetime Uniqueness (STM) —this paper demonstrates that the traditional calendar is a sophisticated holographic projection system of the temporal rhythms of the T⁶4 cosmic living entity onto the four-dimensional spacetime cross-section. By nesting three layers of cosmic periodicities—the lunar phase cycle, the solar tropical year (realized via the 24 solar terms), and the Sexagenary Cycle—the calendar down-converts and encodes high-dimensional cosmic rhythms into a temporal order comprehensible by human consciousness.
