Subgroup analysis reveals age-specific outcomes in older patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer.
We read the post hoc subgroup analysis of the NAPOLI 3 study with great interest and congratulate the authors for investigating age-specific outcomes in younger and older subgroups in this study.1 The authors compared median progression-free survival (mPFS) and overall survival (mOS) in patients aged ≥70 years (older patients, n = 108) versus those aged <70 years (younger patients, n = 275) and found that mPFS with NALIRIFOX was 7.3 months for older patients and 7.4 months for the younger subgroup.
