The apolipoprotein B mRNA editing enzyme catalytic polypeptide-like (APOBEC) family links antiviral defense to cancer-associated mutagenesis, yet its immune-associated role in cervical cancer (CC) remains insufficiently understood. We aimed to characterize APOBEC expression patterns in CC in relation to HPV subtype, clinical outcome, interferon (IFN) signaling, and tumor immune microenvironment.
