Evaluates sexual health concerns and barriers in women with gynecologic cancers, suggesting impactful psychosocial factors.
Sexual health concerns are common among women with gynecologic cancers, yet they remain under-identified and inconsistently addressed in oncology care. Existing research provides prevalence estimates but often lacks integration of psychosocial predictors and patient-reported contextual explanations. We evaluated the prevalence and predictors of sexual health concerns among women with gynecologic cancers receiving psycho-oncology services and analyzed open-text responses describing reasons for sexual inactivity.
