Randomized trial evaluates drug responses in epithelial ovarian cancer, suggesting targeted treatments are needed.
Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is the most lethal gynecological cancer. Despite high initial response rates, most patients eventually relapse and develop chemoresistance. Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) are emerging as a promising new class of EOC therapeutics, complementing established targeted treatments such as PARP inhibitors (PARPi). However, more than half of patients do not respond despite target expression, and it remains unclear which patients benefit most.
