This theoretical framework describes how economic systems collapse under zero transaction time, affecting market ontology.
This paper introduces the concept of Zero-Transfer Economics (ZTE), a theoretical framework describing the limiting state of economic systems in which transaction time approaches zero and value collapses into a degenerate form. We argue that in this regime, classical exchange mechanisms cease to exist and are replaced by a distributed structure of nothing as a universal resource. A simple agent-based interpretation is illustrated through analytical-style plots. The model predicts that at the limit, the economy converges to a state where the only conserved quantity is the total absence of exchangeable content — a result with non-trivial implications for the ontology of market.
