Investigates the mass spectra of singly bottom pentaquarks, indicating potential stability under certain interactions.
Within the framework of the Hypercentral Constituent Quark Model (HCQM), we investigate the spin-dependent mass spectra of singly bottom pentaquark configurations of the form [Formula: see text], where [Formula: see text] and [Formula: see text]. The system is treated as an effective three-body structure consisting of two diquarks and bottom antiquark, and the use of Jacobi coordinates enables a simplified description of the underlying three-body dynamics. The interactions between constituents are modeled using the Cornell potential, while hyperfine effects are incorporated through spin-spin, spin-orbit, and tensor interactions, allowing for the analysis of states with quantum numbers [Formula: see text]. The calculated mass spectra respect proper color couplings, ensuring an overall color singlet configuration, and exhibit the expected ordering due to spin-dependent interactions. Possible strong decay modes are examined by comparing the predicted masses with relevant two body meson-baryon thresholds. Notably, several predicted states lie near or below these thresholds, indicating potential stability or week binding, and thus may correspond to compact or near threshold pentaquark states that will help the experimental studies.
