Scoping review maps self-management strategies in systemic sclerosis, highlighting educational and non-pharmacological approaches.
This OSF repository hosts the preregistration protocol and methodological framework for a planned scoping review titled "Self-Management in Systemic Sclerosis: A Scoping Review". The primary objective of this prospective study is to systematically map and categorize the existing literature regarding self-management strategies, patient education, clinical guidelines, and non-pharmacological approaches designed for individuals living with Systemic Sclerosis (SSc). To ensure strict methodological transparency, our pre-planned search strategies, inclusion/exclusion criteria, and screening workflows are detailed within this protocol prior to the formal data collection. Once the systematic search is executed, the retrieved records will undergo a multi-stage title/abstract and full-text screening process. The finalized literature will then be systematically categorized into predefined thematic areas, including Educational/Psychosocial Self-Management, Tele/e-Health, Hand/Upper Extremity Approaches, Exercise/Physical Activity, and Guidelines.
