Examines radiation effects on hydromagnetic flow, indicating complex interactions in heat-absorbing fluids.
The current work is principally intended to examine the effects of radiation absorption and Hall current on unsteady hydromagnetic natural convective chemically reacting and radiating flow past an impulsively moving infinite vertical plate subjected to parabolic ramped velocity, temperature, and concentration. The study includes a comparative assessment of ramped and isothermal conditions. The dimensionless flow equations are resolved analytically through a methodical implementation of the Laplace transform method coupled with the Heaviside step function. To elucidate the influence of various embedded parameters, graphical results are provided for momentum, temperature, and concentration profiles, supported by physical interpretations, while corresponding fluctuations in transport rates are systematically documented in tabular form. The results demonstrate that both the fluid velocity and temperature are improved with increasing radiation absorption parameter, whereas the rate of heat transport diminish. Moreover, it is observed that a rise in the radiation absorption parameter reduces the momentum transfer rate by 1.11% under ramped condition, while an enhancement of 2.15% is noticed under isothermal condition.
