The study examined the impact of ministerial administration on COVID-19 preventive protocol acceptance among primary healthcare development agents in Rivers State. Two research questions and two hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Correlational research design was used in carrying out the study. The population of the study consist of all the 150 staff of the Rivers State Primary Healthcare agents numbering. The sample of the study was 130 primary healthcare agents was selected from the population of the study using purposive sampling technique. The instrument titled ministerial administration as a predictor of the acceptance questionnaire (MAPAQ) was used for data collection. The instruments were validated by expert in the Department of Human Kinetics and Health Education and Department of Psychological Foundations of Education all in University of Uyo. Cronbach Alpha was used to calculate the reliably coefficient of the instrument which yielded the overall reliability coefficient of .786 for the instrument. The data collected was analysed using simple linear regression analysis. The research questions and test the null hypotheses were tested at p≤0.05 level of significance. The result obtained indicated that the ministerial administration's significantly influence the acceptance of the COVID-19 protocol among primary healthcare development agents in Rivers State, Nigeria. The result indicated that the value of R2 = .604 (F-value = 327.961) for planning while coordination has the R2 of .467 with the F-value of 186.854. This indicated that planning and coordination are significant predictor of the acceptance of COVID-19 preventive protocols among primary healthcare development agents in Rivers State. The study recommended that government and healthcare institutions should prioritize the allocation of funds to primary healthcare development agents to enhance their ability to comply with COVID-19 protocols and future health emergencies. Planning and coronation should be carry out as a predictor of the acceptance of COVID-19 preventive protocols among primary healthcare development agents in Rivers State.
