Demonstrates reliability optimization in complex engineering systems, indicating improved performance under uncertainty.
Reliability optimization is important for designing and maintaining complex engineering systems since failures can spread through several channels and damage other parts of the system. Most of the time, old reliability models assume that breakdowns happen intentionally or by accident. The assumption is too simple and does not consider the uncertainty, inconsistency, and indeterminacy that are common in real-world situations, such as industrial control, aeronautical systems, and infrastructure networks. To make systems more reliable in the face of uncertainty, we suggest a new strategy that combines the reptile search algorithm (RSA) with the neutrosophic Birnbaum importance measure (NBIM). The suggested approach expands traditional reliability theory into the neutrosophic realm, employing truth, indeterminacy, and falsehood to represent the reliability of each component. These work because they let you show information that is vague, missing, or contradictory while still making sense. determine how reliable a system is by using AND/OR logic on minimal path sets. This method allows us to assess complicated network structures, accurately, such as bridges and ARPA systems.
