Experimental study compares web performance metrics among HTTP protocols, indicating practical differences.
This study investigates the performance differences between HTTP/1.1, HTTP/2 and HTTP/3 through controlled experiments. The experiment evaluates web performance metrics including Page Load Time and Time To First Byte (TTFB). A test website was deployed and measured under different HTTP protocols. Thirty measurements were collected for each protocol and statistical analysis was performed using average values and standard deviation. The results provide insights into the practical performance differences between modern web protocols.
