In the context of implementing the 2018 General Education Curriculum, the development and implementation of school education plans play a critical role in ensuring educational quality at the lower secondary level. This study aims to examine the current status of developing and implementing school education plans for Grades 6 and 7, while identifying challenges encountered during the process. The study employed document analysis, surveys, and interviews with school administrators and teachers at lower secondary schools. The findings indicate that schools have proactively developed education plans in accordance with the requirements of the 2018 General Education Curriculum. However, challenges remain in organizing integrated teaching, incorporating new educational content, and ensuring flexibility and suitability to local school conditions.
