This study aims to determine how supply chain performance affects international renewable energy trade. To that end, the study gathers panel data on 50 highly polluted countries from the continents of Asia, America, and Europe, utilizing the 2SLS, GMM, and smoothed instrumental variable quantile regression estimators. Our results imply that supply chain performance has a favorable impact on renewable energy trade globally and in Asia, America, and Europe. Moreover, GDP, financial development, education, ICT, and population also play significant roles in renewable energy trade. In order to increase renewable energy trade, policymakers should focus on increasing supply chain infrastructure development.
