ABSTRACT To enhance the dynamic response and disturbance rejection capability of full‐bridge series resonant converters under the wide or full output voltage range, this paper proposes the hybrid control method that combines the fixed conduction time (FCT) modulation method and the improved super‐twisting sliding mode control (ISTSMC) method. The proposed hybrid control method not only achieves full‐range output voltage regulation but also realizes soft‐switching characteristics of all the components. Furthermore, the proposed method adopts a novel non‐singular terminal sliding surface to ensure finite‐time convergence of the voltage tracking error, while integrating the continuous control law derived from the super‐twisting algorithm to significantly suppress system chattering. The stability of the proposed method is rigorously demonstrated, and the experimental results validate the effectiveness of the theoretical analysis.
