Research critiques diploma sports education in Nepal, highlighting curriculum, technology, and instructor gaps, suggesting improvements.
Nepal’s diploma level sports education program and its current condition has gone through a critique and analysis. It is necessary to identify the existing diploma-level sports science and management programs in Nepal by reviewing existing gaps in specialized curriculum, technology application and the availability of qualified trainers. Utilizing the PRISMA Framework, this research paper synthesizes the literature and policy documents, showing different factors that create a negative feedback loop, diminishing the standard of sports education and the sports system of the country as a whole. This study identified descendant issues of the educational system. It includes the absence of sufficient specialized curricula, an immense inadequacy of technology, and an absence of proficient and qualified educators. The analysis advocated for paradigm shifts systemically aimed at transforming the sports curriculum, modern technological investments, and professional advancement of coaches toward a more pragmatic and improved policy framework.
