This paper presents our approach to enterprise systemic digital twins, that is to say digital twins of industrial processes based on a systemic approach, and the semantic fundamentals of the formal system specification language Σ (Sigma), which synthesises systemic, stochastic, object-oriented, synchronous and parallel modelling paradigms, on which it relies. We especially propose a standard methodology for designing, constructing and validating a systemic digital twin, which is illustrated in details on a case study, namely the industrial transformation of a port. We provide a short conclusion highlighting the key business benefits that are obtained in this way, the most important one being a facilitated development and evolutive maintenance for a systemic digital twin.
