Demonstrates efficient cancer biomarker detection in cell lysates, suggesting improved diagnostics.
The precise detection and modulation of target biomolecules in biologically intricate environments continues to pose major difficulties. Thus, there is a pressing need for a highly selective and integrated analytical platform that can simultaneously achieve specific molecular recognition and ensure successful separation. In light of this, we have prepared a dual‐functional magnetic hybrid system based on MOF, deploying tumor protein p53 as a model intracellular biomarker. The synthesis of the core‐shell nanostructure and the complete hybrid system was optimized, and their morphological and electrochemical properties were validated using several characterization techniques. To validate the functional significance and achieve miniaturization and scalability, we developed a magnetic assembly device for the efficient separation and detection of p53 in complex cell lysates. The device showed remarkable analytical capability, featuring a wide linear range from 1 to 200 ng mL −1 and a low detection limit of 0.227 ng mL −1 . Real sample analysis showed a high recovery rate of 123.02%–167.8% (RSD = 4.13%, n = 3) with excellent selectivity (K sel < 0.2). Furthermore, to facilitate real‐time monitoring and remote data transmission, the device was coupled to a smartphone‐based application, viz. “p53biosense”. Thus, integrating nanomaterials, magnetic control, and smartphone‐based data acquisition highlights the potential for automated point‐of‐care biomolecular analysis.
