An account provides new species records of Helophorus in Mongolia, revealing significant findings.
An account is given of further data on the Mongolian fauna of the genus Helophorus Fabricius, 1775. For each species, first and additional province records are provided. Helophorus (Rhopalohelophorus) orientalis Motschulsky, 1860 is reported for the first time from the country and the occurrence of H. (s. str.) jaechi Angus, Citation1995 is confirmed. Thus, at present, 21 Helophorus species are known Mongolia.
