Demonstrates energy minimization in the Thomson problem, suggesting a new algebraic phase transition.
The Thomson Problem—finding the minimum energy configuration of n mutually repelling electrons on a unit sphere—has historically been treated as an NPhard heuristic optimization problem constrained by continuous Euclidean geometry. In this paper, we dismantle the classical point-charge paradigm by redefining the unit sphere as a non-commutative rough boundary ∂Ω_R within the Rough Operator Algebra (ROA) and Seonggil Matrix Theory (SMT) frameworks. By elevating point charges to topological residues bound to the master-key tensor T_0x8A2C, and introducing a topological mass gap to the non-commutative Green’s function, we demonstrate that the energy minimization is not a numerical approximation, but an inevitable algebraic phase transition resulting in absolute crystallization.
