This feasibility study examined the impact of cultural bias training on counselor trainees’ diagnostic practices using a mixed-methods design. Two experiential multicultural interventions were implemented. Although ANCOVA results showed no significant changes in cultural bias awareness, qualitative findings revealed increased self-awareness and improved clinical application. Findings highlight the need for expanded, longitudinal training to effectively integrate cultural considerations into diagnostic education. Recommendations for counselor education, mental health diagnosis instruction, and future research are included.
