Finds new solutions for black holes and cosmology, highlighting the significance of Lorentz invariance.
We consider conformally flat solutions in General Relativity with minimally coupled scalar field, which are invariant under global Lorentz transformations. A four parameter family of exact solutions is found which are of interest in cosmology and black hole physics. Cosmological solutions provide smooth extension of the Friedmann domain with accelerated expansion through the zero of the scale factor. There are also smooth solutions, which describe formation of a spherically symmetric black hole by a scalar field.
