Demonstrates a new model of the kaon's charge distribution, suggesting compactness.
By applying Patterson function analysis in combination with a scaling procedure, we obtained a model‑independent reconstruction of the kaon’s charge distribution. The resulting profile is characterized by a sharply localized central maximum, reaching 7113 fm⁻³, and an exceptionally small half‑maximum radius of 0.0207 fm. These values contrast strongly with conventional charge‑radius estimates near 0.6 fm, underscoring the unusually compact nature of the distribution. Graphical representations reveal a density that remains strictly positive yet integrates to a net charge of only 0.644, below the expected unit value. The findings demonstrate that Patterson analysis, when combined with scaling, offers a distinctive lens for visualizing the internal charge structures of nucleons, light nuclei, and elementary particles.
