This study explores the transformative capacity of the Village Life Centers project initiated by the Turkish Ministry of National Education, with the objective of addressing entrenched challenges in rural development and educational inequality. The project involves the revitalization of abandoned village schools into multifunctional hubs, which now offer pre-school and primary education, as well as vocational training programs. These centers also function as vibrant community spaces that foster social interaction. It utilized a qualitative case study design, and data were collected during the 2023–2024 academic year across five village life centers, involving 12 teachers, 45 students, and 25 parents through in-depth semi-structured interviews. The findings revealed a significant impact, including increased access to education, strengthened rural livelihoods, and a marked reduction in urban migration. Furthermore, inclusive education opportunities and advanced technological infrastructure have notably enhanced the socioeconomic resilience of rural communities. Village life centers offer a replicable, education-focused model for fostering sustainable rural development. This study emphasizes the theoretical and practical significance of integrating education into rural transformation strategies, positioning village life centers as a model for global efforts in socioeconomic renewal and educational equity.
