Abstract

The relay of chiral information from the α-carbon atom of the amino acid ligand is believed to be crucial for chiral induction in the PdII-catalyzed enantioselective CH activation/CC coupling reaction of diphenyl (2-pyridyl) methane with boronic acids (see scheme; BQ=benzoquinone).
