In this article, the issue of non-fragile extended state estimation for time-varying uncertain networked systems with multiplicative noise is investigated. The extended state method is used to deal with nonlinear uncertain functions. An event-triggered protocol is adopted for the communication network between the sensor and the estimator to reduce the network burden. An unknown matrix is added to the estimator gain to model the gain perturbations that may be caused by conversion errors. Then, an event-based non-fragile extended state estimator is proposed, which improves the interference resistance and estimation performance of the algorithm. In particular, the constructed estimator obtains an upper bound on the covariance by calculating the recursive Riccati equation for different cases and derives a corresponding gain matrix. Furthermore, a sufficient condition is provided to ensure that the estimation error is bounded, and a boundedness analysis is given. Finally, the feasibility of the estimation algorithm is verified by two examples.
