Preprint reveals mass-radius relations in neutron stars influenced by modified gravity through NICER data.
text This preprint presents a modified Tolman-Oppenheimer-Volkoff (TOV) solver developed for studying neutron star structure within modified gravity theories. Key contributions of this work include: A self-developed numerical framework to solve the modified TOV equations, benchmarked against the SLy4 equation of state. An analysis of how the saturation parameter (β ≈ 0.021) affects mass-radius relations, anchored to observational data from the NICER mission (χ² = 0.87). The inclusion of full LaTeX source code, figures, and datasets to ensure reproducibility. This work is intended for submission to the Journal of High Energy Astrophysics (JHEAP).
