DescriptionImpactAlign – Global Case Studies Compendium presents practical evidence of how the ImpactAlign framework is being used to connect institutional research and innovation with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This manuscript moves beyond technical design to highlight realworld applications across universities, research councils, and industry clusters. The compendium documents pilot implementations where universities strengthened compliance and visibility in SDGlinked research, research councils improved transparency in funding decisions, and industry clusters accelerated commercialization while embedding sustainability. Comparative analysis shows how different sectors adapt the framework to their priorities, while shared lessons emphasize the importance of early stakeholder engagement, capacitybuilding workshops, and peer learning networks. Visual dashboards illustrate measurable outcomes such as funding leverage, commercialization success, and policy adoption, making the framework accessible to decisionmakers and practitioners. By presenting evidence of adaptability and credibility, the compendium positions ImpactAlign as a living framework that evolves with institutional needs. This preprint is intended for researchers, policymakers, and institutional leaders seeking practical models for aligning local initiatives with global benchmarks. It invites collaboration, scaling, and integration across geographies, reinforcing ImpactAlign’s role as a global benchmark for research management and sustainable development.
