This study applied the Open-Source Spatial Electrification Tool (OnSSET) to evaluate electrification pathways for achieving universal electricity access in Zambia by 2030. Four (04) electrification scenarios were modelled, with the analysis focusing on two high-demand scenarios that reflect projected electricity demand growth and productive uses of energy. Both scenarios achieved universal access by providing approximately 3.58 million new electricity connections.
