High Resolution Image Download MS PowerPoint Slide Memristor, as a nonlinear resistor with memory function, has shown broad application prospects in the biomedical field in recent years. The memristor have unique advantages, such as resistive switching characteristics, synaptic plasticity, high integration density, and low power consumption, making it have important potential applications in biosensing, intelligent electronic skin (e-skin), neuromorphic diagnosis and treatment system. This paper reviews the research progress of memristors in the biomedical field, focusing on their applications in biological signal detection, neuromorphic diagnosis and treatment, implantable medical devices, and brain–computer interfaces (BCI), and analyzes current technological challenges and future development trends. In particular, we propose some unique perspectives for applying memristor based diagnostic and therapeutic systems to the field of neuroscience, achieving real-time monitoring of brain signals and neuromorphic diagnosis. It can be foreseen that the memristor based neuromorphic chips will be an irreplaceable core component for the construction of neuromorphic diagnosis and treatment systems in neuroscience, effectively promoting the rapid development of intelligent medicine.
