Fifty‐five patients with Chronic Active Hepatitis (CAH) were typed for HLA‐A,B,C and DR antigens. HBs Ag positive CAH had no correlation with HLA. HBs Ag negative CAH was mainly associated with HLA‐Cw7 (pc <.001, relative risk 9, 1).
