Research investigates properties of pointwise semi-slant lightlike submanifolds, suggesting further geometric implications.
In this paper, we investigate pointwise semi-slant lightlike submanifolds within the framework of indefinite almost Hermitian manifolds. After providing definition, we obtain classification results for the existence of pointwise semi-slant lightlike submanifolds of indefinite almost Hermitian manifolds and provide a non-trivial example of such submanifolds. Then, we derive characterization results for a pointwise semi-slant lightlike submanifold to be a semi-slant lightlike submanifold in framework of indefinite Kähler and indefinite nearly Kähler manifolds. We also determine conditions enabling the distributions associated with these submanifolds to be involutive in Kähler and nearly Kähler settings. Finally, we investigate the geometry of totally umbilical pointwise semi-slant lightlike submanifolds in framework of indefinite Kähler and indefinite nearly Kähler manifolds.
