Essay analyzes poetry's role in making victims visible and redefining authorship in globalization context.
This essay analyses recent poetry using two aesthetic concepts from contemporary art: Neo-Humanism/Neo-humanist (Rancière) and Relational Aesthetics (Bourriaud). Through the reading of two poetry collections, Libro centroamericano de los muertos (2018), by Balam Rodrigo, and Libro mediterráneo de los muertos , by María Ángeles Pérez López (2023), the article elaborates a paradigm of Neohumanist and relational writing. This proposes an analysis of the ways these texts make victims visible, the displacement of authorship from its central position in the text, and the construction of links with others to form a community in a context of globalization and de-founded politics.
