Demonstrates enhanced luminescence in chiral perovskite nanowires, suggesting new optical material applications.
This work presents a versatile chiral‐ligand‐directed strategy for the controlled synthesis of circularly polarized luminescence (CPL)‐active chiral CsPbBr 3 perovskite nanowires (NWs). By employing chiral ligands, the growth from Cs‐Pb‐Br precursor to high‐phase‐purity NWs with tunable dimensions is achieved. The chiral ligands not only induce chirality into the perovskite lattice via coordination with Pb 2 + but also effectively passivate surface defects, leading to a significant enhancement of photoluminescence quantum yield (PLQY). The resulting nanowires exhibit a remarkably high luminescence dissymmetry factor (| g lum | max ) of up to 3.0 × 10 − 2 . Furthermore, this method exhibits versatility by working effectively with both chiral acid and amine ligands. Finally, through halide ion exchange, the CPL emission can be continuously tuned across the entire visible spectra. This facile and generalizable synthetic approach provides a powerful pathway for fabricating chiral perovskite nanomaterials with tailored optical and chiroptical properties.
