Abstract

Here we report the first direct imaging of the giant pores distribution in the MIL-101 compound, which represents the largest porous MOF discovered up to now, with cage volumes up to ca. 20 600 Å3 and a record sorption capacity (SLangmuir ∼ 5900 ± 300 m2·g-1).
