Angina pectoris is a type of chest pain caused by diminished blood flow to the heart muscle. It is a cardiovascular disease belonging to non-communicable diseases and poses a significant health challenge globally. It is characterised by substernal chest pain, pressure, or discomfort, such as pressure or a squeezing pain in the chest that lasts longer than 30 to 60 seconds; it is often worsened by exertion and/or mental stress and is eased by rest. Homoeopathic interventions play an important role in managing angina; an increasing number of individuals seek complementary approaches, including homoeopathy, for preventive measures. The holistic nature of homoeopathy, encompassing physical, emotional, and mental aspects of health, is emphasised in the prevention of angina. This article examines the use of homoeopathic remedies to prevent angina pectoris while considering the unique symptoms of this heart disease and encourages homoeopathic practitioners to ensure a comprehensive and well-coordinated strategy for preventing angina pectoris.
