It is plausible that important differences exist between the sort of person who was attracted to Krishna Venta and those who find themselves aroused by a different sort of appeal.8 The evidence reported in this paper would not enable us to predict which of several competing cults might be selected by a cult-prone (institutionally alienated but religiously intense) person.
