Case report reveals yellow-brown discoloration in a worker post-phenol exposure, indicating critical diagnostic value.
Phenol exposure typically causes irritant contact dermatitis with yellow‐brown discoloration. A worker developed characteristic discoloration followed by rapidly evolving distant eruptions consistent with an id reaction after phenol exposure. Symptoms resolved with conservative treatment and elimination of exposure. This rare presentation highlights the diagnostic value of yellow‐brown discoloration and the importance of prompt occupational history‐taking.
