Comparative study assesses growth effects of homoeopathic phosphorus potencies on garlic in deficient soil, suggesting significant outcomes.
Objectives: To assess the growth of the A. sativum L using the homoeopathic medicine phosphorus 6X, 200C, 0/3 potencies and placebo in phosphate-deficient soil and compare the results. Material and Methods: Four sets of garlic cloves are planted after spraying with the homoeopathic medicines and water. Each set contains 10 garlic cloves. Five drops of phosphorus 6X and 200 are mixed with 250 mL of water and for phosphorus 0/3, 5 globules were mixed with 250 mL of water. Each set was sprayed with the respective medicine weekly once and observed for 9 weeks. Results: Phosphorus 200 showed maximum growth. Phosphorus 0/3 had shown the next highest growth, followed by the placebo group. Phosphorus 6X showed prominent growth in the first few weeks. The F = 5.973 and p = 0.01. One-way analysis of variance and Tukey honestly significant difference post hoc test concluded that phosphorus 200 had a better impact on the plant growth. Conclusion: Phosphorus 200 showed a significant result in the growth of A. sativum L than the other potencies and placebo.
