Analyzes how the film Barbie reflects feminine consciousness and cultural transformation via Jungian concepts.
This paper is a Jungian reflection on the film Barbie (2023) as a play‐based template for imagining the potential for individual intrapsychic tension in relationship with dominance‐based sociopolitical structures to dynamically contribute to cultural transformation. The development of feminine consciousness, including the capacity to engage within the imaginal realm, is explored through the archetypal structure of the feminine Self.
