Amorphous hierarchical NiCo ₂ O ₄ –CoNiO ₂ hybrids have been successfully fabricated via a facile one-pot hydrothermal route, followed by morphologic conversion into urchin-like structured NiCo ₂ O ₄ –CoNiO ₂ nanorods and irregular-shaped hierarchical NiCo ₂ O ₄ –CoNiO ₂ polyhedral nanocrystals through air-annealing treatment at 450 °C and 650 °C, respectively.
