The paper presents new taxonomic and faunistic data on 26 spider species of the Lyssomaninae (Salticidae). Eight new Lyssomanes species are diagnosed, illustrated and described: L. admiratio sp. nov. (male) from Ecuador; L. atalaya sp. nov. (female) from Peru; L. longhorni sp. nov. (male, female) from Honduras; L. pakitza sp. nov. (female) from Peru; L. silvae sp. nov. (male, female) from Peru; L. singularis sp. nov. (male, female) from Ecuador; L. tarmaenot sp. nov. (male) from Peru; and L. yuyapichis sp. nov. (female) from Peru. The original sex matching in L. adisi Logunov, 2002 is corrected, and the true female of this species is illustrated and described for the first time. The female paratypes of L. adisi proved to actually belong to L. unicolor (Taczanowski, 1871). Previously unknown sexes are described and illustrated for two species: L. adisi (female) and L. waorani Logunov et Marusik, 2003 (male). New faunistic records for 18 lyssomanine species are given and discussed. Sumakuru bigal Maddison, 2016, originally described from Ecuador and here newly recorded from Peru, is reported for the first time after its original description, and its diagnosis based on morphological traits is clarified. A brief discussion of the current state of knowledge of the Lyssomaninae is also provided.
