The case is described of a 20-year-old part-aboriginal woman who developed lymphangitic sporotrichosis, probably as a result of a rose thron injury. Diagnosis was delayed because of the scarcity of this condition in Western Australia, and initial treatment was inappropriate. Therapeutic response to iodides however, was dramatic and complete. This is the second report from Western Australia, and the first in which a part-aboriginal has been infected.
