Information and communication technologies are an integral element of the information space. The implementation of the tasks of law enforcement agencies is almost impossible without their integrated use in the context of the dynamics of criminalization of society and the growth of crimes committed both against information systems and using information tools. The authors emphasize the need to study the structure of modern information and communication technologies and to develop their classification in terms of the functionality of law enforcement agencies. The authors propose a system that is new and designed for practical use in law enforcement. The authors report that a significant number of disparate automated information systems of various departmental subordination show low efficiency and the impossibility of implementing the information doctrine.
