The Ridley Lens Implant

THIS report is based on 84 cases. The youngest patient was 9 years old and the oldest 80 years at the time of surgery. The first operation was done in November 1951, and-the last in December 1955. Material This series of cataracts includes eighteen traumatic, three complicating hetero- chromic cyclitis, one congenital, and the rest of indefinite aetiology-so-called senile cataracts (though several of these patients were only 40 years old)-and probably including cataracts due to contusions and other physical and toxic causes.
