Purpose of this research is to determine relationship between anthropometric charactheristics and chosen motor abilities with shooting velocity in goalball. This study included 9 goalball athletes, who were visually impaired or blind, aged (28,31 ± 8,55), with at least 3 years of experience of playing in named sport and who train at least three times per week. Correlation analysis was applied to determine relationship of all independent anthropometric and chosen motor variables with dependent variable 'shooting velocity' (BRZRAD). Results have shown that goalball athletes which have higher body mass, body fat and which are more obese have better shooting velocity. We can conclude that fat tissue and obesity are not crucial for shooting velocity in goalball, but it is possible that bigger impact on shooting velocity has learnig skills and experience.
