The compression-induced magnetic anisotropy in Ni3Fe alloy is found to be enhanced by annealing in the temperature range between 150 and 200°C without applied magnetic field. The anisotropy is expected to be proportional to the spacing of paired superlattice dislocations. The direct electron microscopie observation at high temperatures reveales that the spacing of paired dislocations becomes wide notably by 200°C annealing. A hysteretic dependence on the annealing temperature is also elucidated on a proposed model.
