Dudney, and co-workers describe the battery, which consists of a LiNi0.5Mn1.5O4 spinel cathode and a lithium metal anode. This solid-state battery delivers a high coulombic efficiency of >99.98% and stable cycling of >90% retention for 10 000 cycles.
