We suggest that Anderson localization can be reached for classical waves for a very small concentration of scatterers, if they present internal resonances . Applications, e.g. , to acoustics in a bubbly liquid are shown to reach the strong localization regime, with scatterers volume fraction as small as 10 −4 ÷ 10 −5 . Localization of photons is also discussed. Our systems could allow a clear study of the mobility edge.
